This position functions as a consultant, educator, role model, researcher and change agent for Infection Control, and is involved in daily collaborative efforts within all facets of the medical center.
Responsibilities include education, surveillance, prevention, control, and quality improvement in an effort to ensure high quality, evidence-based, cost-effective health care and the prevention of health care associated infections.

Key Requirements
Registered Nurse (RN), Clinical Lab Scientist (CLR), or Medical Technologist (MT) licensure in California

Certification with the Board of Infection Control (CIC) within three (3) years
American Heart Association (AHA) Healthcare Provider CPR card
