Job Summary
The Site Safety and Health Officer (SSHO) is responsible for managing and enforcing the Contractor’s safety program, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and requirements as outlined in EM 385-1-1 Section 1 and 29 CFR 1926.16.
Key responsibilities include implementing and administering the Contractor’s safety program and the approved Accident Prevention Plan (APP), being physically onsite at all times when work is being performed, and ensuring safety requirements are adhered to in all operations.
