Job Summary
The Student Intern will assist the Clinical Epidemiology Department in surveillance activities, data collection and quality improvement initiatives for the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
The internship will conclude with the student given the opportunity to sit for the Associate – Infection Prevention and Control certification.
The goal is to orient the student and give them a comprehensive understanding of the Infection Preventionist role in the healthcare setting.
