Realty Income Corporation is seeking an Associate for their Real Estate Valuation team to support valuation processes and research for acquisition opportunities. The ideal candidate should have a background in real estate, finance, or accounting, along with several years of relevant experience and strong analytical skills

Job Summary

  • The Associate’s main functions are to support the Strategy & Insight Department’s preparation of Purchase Price Allocation valuations, support the Portfolio Acquisitions department in research of weekly acquisition opportunities, and to perform any of the job functions below.
  • Prepare real estate valuation models to assist the acquisition underwriting process and to support weekly Investment Committee meetings.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, accounting, or related field
  • At least 3 years of work experience
  • Experience preparing and reviewing real estate valuation models or discounted cash flows
  • Understanding of ASC 805
  • Experience reading site surveys, property condition reports and leases
  • Relational databases and Power BI experience
