Job Summary

  • The Interconnection Specialist is responsible for managing the interconnection of new energy storage and renewable energy projects to the electric grid, including selecting desirable locations and overseeing the entire interconnection process.
  • Responsibilities include analyzing transmission and distribution grids, preparing interconnection requests, reviewing and negotiating agreements, and coordinating with internal departments and external consultants.
  • This position requires up to 10% travel nationally and internationally and involves working closely with multiple stakeholders to optimize interconnection cost, schedule, and deliverability.
