Skills & Requirements
Must-have
7-10 years disease surveillance experience
MPH or medical degree with field epidemiology
Experience with IDSP/IHIP and NCDC systems
Outbreak investigation and diagnostic workflow expertise
GIS mapping and spatial analysis skills
Stakeholder management with government health authorities
Nice-to-have
FETP/EIS equivalent field epidemiology training
One Health integration and cross-sectoral coordination
Experience with INGOs on surveillance projects
Ability to produce high-level policy briefs
Fluency in English and Hindi languages
Key Requirements
MBBS/BDS/BAMS/BHMS/BVSc plus MPH or DPH
Minimum 7-10 years progressive public health experience
At least 4-5 years in supervisory or technical leadership roles
Demonstrated experience with Indian government health programs
