Job Summary

  • As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll own the development and enhancement of analytics infrastructure—building robust data pipelines, workflow automations, and visualization tools that support GMP and development production.
  • You’ll work with highly complex datasets from platforms such as MES, DeltaV, OSI PI, SAP, LIMS, and internally built systems.
  • This hands-on role sits within Moderna’s CMC Quantitative Sciences (CMC QS) team and plays a key part in shaping the future of data-driven decision-making within our manufacturing and technical operations.

Key Requirements

  • BS in quantitative/scientific discipline with 2-4+ years experience OR MS with 0-2+ years experience
  • Proficiency with statistical software (JMP, Minitab, R, SAS, Python)
  • Hands-on experience with R, Python, SQL
  • Familiarity with Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire
  • Experience in GMP manufacturing environments
  • Experience integrating data from diverse manufacturing and quality systems
