The ideal candidate must be confident in rooming patients, assisting in surgery, surgical recovery, placing IV catheters, drawing blood and running bloodwork, have experience with in-clinic laboratory, have knowledge of x-ray and positioning, understand the importance of client education, have experience with proper animal handling and restraint, able to dispense and administer medications prescribed by the veterinarian, and is a positive and supportive team member
