Job Summary

  • The primary responsibility of this position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during your tour of duty to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.
  • You will assist the Director of Nursing Services in directing nursing functions, participate in developing policies, ensure compliance with procedures, and participate in quality assurance and facility surveys.
  • This role involves coordinating nursing care plans, monitoring staff performance, ensuring safety and sanitation standards, and maintaining effective communication with residents, families, and other departments.

Key Requirements

  • Nursing Degree from accredited college or university
  • Minimum 2 years experience in long-term care
  • Current active RN license in state
  • Current CPR certification
  • Training in rehabilitative and restorative nursing
  • Knowledge of PCC preferred
  • Maintain continuing education and licensing
