Job Summary

  • The NCVDLS provides veterinarians, the animal industry, and the citizens of North Carolina with accurate and timely laboratory support services to diagnose, conduct surveillance, and assist in responding to and preventing animal disease.
  • Duties include shipping and receiving, autoclaving laboratory waste, glassware washing, computer data entry of submissions and client information into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS), stockroom ordering, and serve as backup for purchasing officer.
