Job Summary

  • The role is responsible for the oversight, analysis, and optimization of liquidity and funding across BMO Capital Markets under evolving regulatory constraints.
  • Candidates will partner closely with Technology and Operations to enhance data pipelines, reporting automation, and analytical capabilities supporting Capital Markets Treasury.
  • The position offers significant exposure to senior leadership and the opportunity to influence key business decisions regarding enterprise stress testing and recovery planning.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 8+ years Treasury or Liquidity experience
  • Advanced Excel, SQL, Python, Power BI skills
  • Deep knowledge of LCR, NSFR, and Basel regulations
  • Experience with Global Markets trading products
  • Stress testing framework development and governance

Nice-to-have

  • CPA, MBA, or CFA certification preferred
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills
  • Experience with VBA and scalable data pipelines
  • Background in business process improvement
  • Ability to translate complex insights for senior leaders

Key Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in relevant field
  • CPA, MBA, or CFA (or comparable)
  • 8+ years experience in Treasury/Liquidity
  • In-depth familiarity with trading system output data
