This position will work in Caterpillar China (Wuxi) R&D Center electrification & energy solution team, the Electric Drive Powertrain System Specialist is responsible for the design, integration, validation, and optimization of electric drive systems.
The role leads cross-functional technical development and ensures system performance, efficiency, safety, and regulatory compliance for hybrid and battery electric vehicle platforms.
Key responsibilities include developing system architecture, defining specifications, overseeing integration, conducting testing, collaborating with various teams, and ensuring compliance with standards like ISO 26262.
