The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director in running a creative and interactive activities program tailored to meet the interests and needs of each resident.
This role involves planning and conducting individual and group activities, facilitating communication among staff, residents, families, and external agencies, and assisting with transportation and discharge planning.
The position requires physical activity including frequent standing, walking, lifting, and reaching, and emphasizes maintaining a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
