The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences is seeking Patient Care Technicians for their Medical Specialties Unit, responsible for supporting patient care tasks under the supervision of Registered Nurses. The position requires a high school diploma and completion of a patient care technician course within three months of hire, along with strong communication skills and physical capabilities

Job Summary

  • The Patient Care Technician (PCT) performs patient care tasks and duties which do not require a license and is a trained member of the unit based team who supports the on-going delivery of care as identified by the multidisciplinary patient management team in F6 Medical Specialties Unit.
