Job Summary

  • The Operating Engineer performs a wide variety of moderately complex technical tasks related to the inspection, repair, and maintenance of equipment, utility systems, and complex machinery.
  • Maintain, monitor, and perform preventive maintenance and continuous operation of all building systems including: fire/life safety, mechanical (HVAC, plumbing, controls), electrical (lighting, primary switch gear), and hot water systems.

Key Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience
  • EPA Section 608 Universal certification
  • Valid state driver's license
  • Experience with CMMS/BMS
  • Microsoft Office proficiency
  • Ability to work different schedules, holidays, and weekends
  • Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies
