Job Summary

  • The patient population in Big Rapids is very diverse, it consists of primarily hospitalist medicine patients with a wide variety of diagnosis, some of which include: pneumonia, COPD, cellulitis, kidney failure, and bowel obstructions.
  • In our critical care unit it is common to see high acuity patients with sepsis, hyperglycemia and respiratory failure whose plan of care would include managing medication drips (insulin, vasopressors, etc.) and the utilization of equipment such as ventilators and BIPAPs.
