Job Summary

  • Major League Baseball’s Infrastructure Engineering team is building the next evolution of our global delivery platform, the MLB Edge Platform.
  • You’ll collaborate closely with engineers across Cloud Platform, SRE, InfoSec, and Engineering to operate high-throughput, low-latency systems that ensure MLB’s digital platforms remain fast, reliable, and secure at global scale.

Key Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure or systems engineering
  • Strong knowledge of network and application security concepts
  • Familiarity with HAProxy
  • Strong understanding of DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/S, routing, and network fundamentals
  • Hands-on experience operating in GCP, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments
  • Proficiency with Linux/Unix systems, shell scripting, and infrastructure-as-code tools
  • Experience with Terraform, Ansible, and CI/CD pipelines
  • Familiarity with Go, Python, or Bash
  • Knowledge of caching strategies, observability practices, and performance tuning at the edge
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
