The position assumes responsibility for primary and urgent medical management, emergency stabilization of all critically ill patients, and teaching of residents and medical students.

Key Requirements
Master's degree in Nursing (NP) or Bachelor's/Graduate PA degree
Current APRN license or Physician Assistant license in state of practice
ANCC or AANPCP certification for Family or Adult/Geriatric NP
NCCPA certification for Physician Assistants
BCLS and ACLS certification from American Heart Association
Eligible for prescriptive authority per state board
