Mainsail Lodging & Development is seeking an energetic and motivated Sous Chef for their Spartanburg Marriott location. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of restaurant experience and strong culinary skills to assist in kitchen management and food preparation

Job Summary

  • The Sous Chef will be responsible for preparing the kitchen for a multitude of tasks to include the day-to-day preparation of the meals within all of the F&B outlets and to continually uphold the standards in accordance with the Autograph Collection standards under the franchise of Mainsail Lodging & Development.
  • Assist with the day to day managing of the kitchen staff and assist the Executive Chef with scheduling of kitchen staff.
  • Ensure successful performance assisting guests with an exceptional experience to ensure high performing scores on the GSS according to Marriott.
