Job Summary

• Serves an apprenticeship and related education to become proficient at supporting manufacturing by supplying high-performance tooling, machinery, machine parts, or equipment.
• Will learn and perform the duties and responsibilities of Tooling, Grinding, and Maintenance/AR Machinists by spending designated hours in each machine shop area.

Skills & Requirements

Key Requirements

• 2-years of high school or college level machine shop classes
• 2 years previous employment in a machining related field
• Achieved a “B” average grade or higher in machine shop classes
• 3.0 GPA in an accredited 2+ year Technical/College Machinist technology program
• Pass required screening exams with a score of 85% or higher
• Understand English, read, write, and perform basic math
• Good safety record and housekeeping skills
• Supply own hand tools
• Ability to work independently without continual supervision
