Job Summary
Performs a variety of general laundry and housekeeping/cleaning duties to provide quality laundry service and to maintain the nursing home in a sanitary manner, and free from offensive orders.
Essential duties include making available clean linen, maintaining linen in good repair, collecting laundry from residents, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering clean laundry items.
The position requires the ability to read and understand directions, basic math skills, and problem-solving abilities, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
