Job Summary

  • The Emergency Department APP provides direct patient care in the emergency room including initial patient assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning and stabilization of acutely ill or injured patients, while collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure timely and appropriate care delivery.
  • The Emergency Department APP will interpret diagnostic tests, formulate differential diagnoses, and initiate appropriate treatment plans for a wide range of medical emergencies like trauma, cardiac events and respiratory distress.
  • The Emergency Department APP will perform minor surgical procedures like laceration repair, wound care, and administer medications including IVs, pain management, and emergency medications.
