Extendicare is seeking a part-time Registered Dietitian for their Heritage Lodge Personal Care Home in Winnipeg, Manitoba. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing nutrition and hydration care for residents and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards

Job Summary

  • The Registered Dietitian (RD) is responsible for providing resident nutrition/hydration care and documenting nutrition/hydration care in compliance with regulatory standards and Extendicare's policies and procedures.

Key Requirements

  • University degree in Food and Nutrition
  • 1-2 years of experience in gerontology/long term care
  • Current registration in provincial regulatory College of Dietitians
  • Membership in Dietitians of Canada and Gerontology Network
  • Knowledge of Provincial Food Premises Regulation, CCHSA Accreditation Canada, Provincial/Health Authority regulatory requirements, and Residents' Bill of Rights
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, Synergy, Point Click Care/POC/eMAR)
  • Vulnerable Sector Check (within six months)
