Job Summary

  • Supervise and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the Point of Care Testing service to ensure efficient and effective operations and to meet the needs of the physicians and patients using the services.
  • Serve as direct supervisor for a team of technologists, providing direction and leadership, including staff scheduling and assignments, timekeeping, mentoring, and performance assessment.
  • Perform administrative duties, including payroll approval, review of reagent and supply orders, competency tracking, and preparation for inspections and accreditations for The Joint Commission, NYSDOH, and CAP.
