Key Requirements

  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO)
  • valid driver’s license
  • Firearm Owners Identification (FOID) or Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license
  • State of IL Department of Financial and Professional Regulation licensing requirements
  • Firearm Control Card (FCC) within 90 days of hire
  • Conducted Energy Weapon (Taser) certification within 90 days
  • High School Diploma or GED
  • minimum 1 year security or related experience
  • completion of State of Illinois 40-hour armed course
  • annual handgun qualification with passing score
  • successful background, drug, physical, and psychological screening
