The Emergency Management Specialist will support statewide disaster recovery and preparedness initiatives, including developing and deploying disaster recovery tools, community planning, damage assessment, hazard mitigation planning, and resource coordination.
Responsibilities include assisting clients with developing and updating emergency management plans aligned with FEMA’s five mission areas and establishing tools, policies, and procedures to conduct damage assessment.
The position requires a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years of related work experience and completion of specific FEMA training courses.
