Job Summary

  • Responsible for maintaining all fire fighting equipment and ensuring it is in good working order and available for immediate use.
  • Ensures all fire-extinguishing appliances comply with SOLAS regulations and relevant authorities, and conducts crew cabin inspections.
  • Participates in company emergency codes and assists the medical team in medical emergencies to EMT standards, while continuously evaluating and preventing potential fire hazards.
