Job Summary
The Investigator I is responsible for achieving compliance of the Wage and Hour Act and other related state laws by employers through office and on-site investigations.
Investigators must audit time and payroll records, interview witnesses, and compute wages when due while negotiating for back wages.
If back wages or penalties are not paid, the investigator will work with the Legal Affairs Division and Attorney General's Office to litigate the case.
