This role serves as a key contributor to the Customer Application Support team, driving demand creation and design-in activity for Industrial and IoT applications.
The successful candidate will be accountable for driving design wins by leading proof of concept, solution design, and demonstrations to secure NXP solutions.
Candidates must possess a deep understanding of system level knowledge in target application spaces and the ability to influence sales teams through technical expertise.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
5 years development engineering or applications support experience
SoC based embedded systems development experience
Field Application Engineering experience in semiconductor industry
Knowledge of SoC hardware interfaces like Ethernet and USB
ARM Cortex A and M based register programming models
Ability to read schematics and provide design recommendations
Nice-to-have
Hands on knowledge of graphics and video subsystems
Experience with custom board bring-up debug activities
Proven track record of quickly learning new technologies
Experience providing technical training to sales staff
Willingness to travel for customer meetings and trainings
Key Requirements
Minimum 5 years of relevant engineering experience
Degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering
Experience with embedded Linux kernel and user-space
Familiarity with U-Boot environments
Demonstrated knowledge of specific hardware interfaces
