Sotheby’s is seeking a Cataloguer for their Jewellery Department in Hong Kong, responsible for cataloguing, researching, and providing client services related to jewellery items. The ideal candidate should have language proficiency in English and Chinese, along with a background in high jewellery and strong organizational skills

Job Summary

  • This Cataloguer role will provide overall support to the Jewellery Department, including but not limited to sales, customer relations, catalogue production and administration while improving technical expertise in the field of Jewellery.
  • The Cataloguer shall gradually develop skills to undertake new business generation and for the sourcing, authentication, evaluation and sale of property over time.
  • Responsibilities include assisting in cataloguing and researching items for sales, translating catalogues, proof-reading, assisting with layouts and photography, and providing comprehensive client services.
