This role serves as a principal-level technical advisor to help clients design high-quality data pipelines and adopt best practices on the Enterprise Data Platform.
The position requires deep hands-on expertise in Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, and data governance tools while acting as an enablement lead rather than a pipeline owner.

Salary
Base: USD$215,000.00 - USD$275,000.00; Bonus/Equity: Annual discretionary bonus eligible; Benefits: Healthcare, retirement plan, Flexible Time Off

Must-have
8+ years data engineering experience
Expert SQL development and tuning
Apache Airflow orchestration expertise
dbt data transformation proficiency
Snowflake architecture and optimization
Great Expectations data quality tools
DataHub metadata management
Nice-to-have
Investment management industry background
SnowPro certification preferred
dbt developer certification
Consulting or client-facing experience
Spark or Kafka streaming knowledge
Master's or PhD in related field

Key Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
8+ years of hands-on data engineering experience
Expert proficiency in SQL development and optimization
Deep knowledge of Snowflake internal architecture
Experience with Great Expectations and DataHub
