Job Summary
The primary purpose of the Activity Assistant is to assist the Activity Director run a creative and interactive activities program in accordance with current federal, state, local and corporate standards, regulations, and guidelines.
Essential duties include participating in planning and conducting individual, small, and large group activities, and assisting in providing good communication between employees, residents, families, and support personnel.
The role involves assisting in the development of monthly activity calendars, maintaining attendance records, participating in discharge planning, and arranging transportation for residents when necessary.
