Job Summary

  • The Project Director serves as the Single Point of Contact for the FCDO Europe region, with overall accountability for project delivery across 23 countries, account P&L management, and all KPI/CPI performance metrics.
  • A critical component of this role is the delivery of projects under a principal contracting model, which is the agreed delivery framework with FCDO.
  • Manage and mentor the regional programme management team, building effective relationships with operations directors, regional facilities managers, and post facilities managers across 23 countries.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, Business Administration, or related field
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent
  • Minimum 10+ years in project management
  • At least 5 years in senior leadership roles
  • Proven track record managing large-scale, multi-country programs across Europe
  • Demonstrated P&L responsibility for accounts with minimum value of £10M+
  • Experience working with government or public sector clients
