The SMS Engineer is responsible for leading and managing the Safety Management System activities at the CVG site and driving a proactive safety culture across shop and field operations.
This role ensures compliance with regulatory requirements, promotes a culture of safety, and drives continuous improvement in safety performance.
The SMS Engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to identify hazards, assess risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies to ensure the highest standards of safety and quality in maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) operations.

Key Requirements
Bachelors degree in Engineering, Aviation Safety or related field preferred
3+ years of experience in aviation safety or MRO operations

Experience with Part 145 Repair Station operations
Strong knowledge of SMS principles, FAA/EASA regulations
