  • The Meat and Poultry Inspection Division enforces laws to ensure meat and poultry products are wholesome, unadulterated, and properly labeled, inspecting approximately 200 plants statewide.
  • Successful applicants will complete extensive training and serve as Inspector in Charge at establishments in McDowell County, working onsite during operational hours with occasional holiday and overtime work.
