Job Summary
This role requires a strategic leader to guide the DMPK-BA strategy for Vertex's rapidly growing Biotherapeutics portfolio including protein, antibody, ADC, and cell and genetic therapies.
The successful candidate will manage and oversee DMPK-BA teams across Boston and Seattle sites while integrating PK, bioanalysis, and translational data into cross-functional program decision-making.

Salary
Base: $268,000 - $402,000; Bonus/Equity: Eligible for annual bonus and equity awards; Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, PTO, educational assistance, 401(k)
Skills & Requirements
Must-have
PhD in Pharmacokinetics or related field
15+ years industry management experience
Expertise in protein, antibody, ADC, cell and gene therapies
Experience managing multi-site DMPK-BA teams
Deep knowledge of PK, ADME, bioanalysis, immunogenicity
Nice-to-have
Strong cross-functional collaboration skills
Ability to influence governance bodies
Track record of mentoring emerging talent
Experience with regulatory submissions and health authorities
Key Requirements
PhD in Pharmacokinetics, Biochemistry, Biology, or related field
15+ years of industry experience at management level
Extensive experience with biotherapeutic modalities
Proven track record managing teams across multiple therapeutic areas
