Job Summary

  • This role offers Service members the opportunity to gain valuable civilian work experience through the Military DoD SkillBridge program during their last 180 days of service.
  • The On Wing Support Test Technician Level 2 is responsible for executing borescope inspections, troubleshooting, and test operations for GE/CFM commercial engines while adhering to strict safety and compliance standards.
  • Participants will collaborate with cross-functional teams including EHS, quality, engineering, and planning to drive operational initiatives and support constant improvement site-wide.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Active Military personnel on last 180 days of service
  • Mechanical experience with inspection background
  • Borescope inspection capability
  • Preliminary Review approved status
  • Designated Inspector status
  • Federal Aviation Administration Powerplant certification

Nice-to-have

  • Proven leadership experience driving process improvements
  • Background in SAP or Oasis ERP software
  • Commercial high-bypass turbofan engine testing experience
  • Engine Test Site Operator experience
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively across all levels
