Job Summary

  • The Senior Advisor provides leadership, coordination, and subject matter expertise in the full range of institutional emergency response plans and programs for The University of British Columbia.
  • This position sets the strategic direction in the development, creation, implementation and sustainment of comprehensive province-wide emergency response plans and programs.
  • The Senior Advisor guides institutional planning activities to ensure compliance with Emergency Disaster Management Act and other applicable statutes and advises province-wide UBC departments regarding applicable standards and UBC policies.
