The role involves performing comprehensive examinations, diagnosing conditions, formulating therapeutic plans, and educating patients and families.
Candidates will also have opportunities to precept nursing students, participate in scholarly projects, and contribute to continuous process improvement.

Skills & Requirements
Must-have
Active Texas APRN license with prescriptive authority
National board certification as Family Nurse Practitioner
Master of Science degree in nursing or equivalent
One year experience as family nurse practitioner
Five years clinical nursing experience
Basic Life Support Certificate from American Heart Association
Nice-to-have
Experience in health professions education
Familiarity with electronic health records systems
Knowledge of standard nursing procedures
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work with sensitive information confidentially
