The Director of Staff Development is responsible to plan and implement facility orientation, job skills training, in-service education, and a Certification Training Program for nursing assistants.
The DSD also provides direct resident/patient care and works with the Director of Nursing and Administrator to ensure the highest degree of quality care.
Key responsibilities include coordinating staff recruitment and hiring, managing payroll and benefits, and organizing in-service education programs for all facility staff.
