  • The Maintenance I/E Technician is responsible for calibrating, installing, maintaining, repairing, and inspecting complex electrical and instrumentation equipment in the plant.
  • The role requires adherence to safety programs, proper documentation, and collaboration with maintenance supervisors and engineers to improve equipment reliability.

Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • Electrical and instrumentation maintenance
  • Calibration of plant monitoring devices
  • Use of CMMS Maximo system
  • Knowledge of 3-phase 480-volt power circuits
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) compliance
  • Troubleshooting malfunctioning equipment
  • Reading electrical schematics and blueprints

Nice-to-have

  • Problem solving skills
  • Interpersonal savvy
  • Learning on the fly
  • Experience with PLC systems
  • Familiarity with National Electrical Code and NFPA 70E
  • Experience with cGMP compliance

Key Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years I/E experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Associate or Technical degree preferred
  • Experience with CMMS such as Maximo or MP2
  • Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
  • Knowledge of calibration standards and cGMP
  • Ability to work with voltages up to 480 volts
