Key Requirements

  • Security Officer Healthcare Certification (CHSO) within 2 years
  • Unarmed Guard License (NC) or equivalent state requirement
  • Stop the Bleed Certification within 1 year
  • Valid driver's license issued by DMV
  • FOID Card or Concealed Carry Weapon (CCW) license
  • Certified in Conducted Energy Weapon use within 90 days
  • 1 year experience in security or public safety
  • State of Illinois 20-hour Basic Security Officer course
