Job Summary

  • Develop, integrate and document interior payload system requirements to establish the system design of large aircraft modifications.
  • Identify requirements and their associated solutions for active and upcoming projects and develop engineering design solutions with the use of CAD for modifications to aircraft cabin systems.
  • Work closely with customers, outside vendors, MROs regulatory agencies and other teams within the company, to create engineering solutions that exceeds customer expectations on time and within budget.

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or similar
  • Experience in aircraft interiors mechanical/structural design
  • EASA Part 21J Design Organisation experience preferable
  • Working knowledge of aircraft interior reconfiguration
  • Working knowledge of sheet metal forming/fabrication/machining
  • Working knowledge of aircraft material and fastener selection
  • Ability to work on multiple programmes efficiently
