Key Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent required
  • Two years’ experience in this field preferred
  • Knowledge of working with a wide variety of resident demographics
  • Experience in social services, creative activities or long term care desired
  • Eligible for certification as a therapeutic recreation specialist or activities professional
  • Successful completion of an accredited training program approved by state preferred
  • Current Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) certification or currently enrolled as a student in a healthcare related program preferred
  • Basic Life Support (BLS)
  • Sanford Category I or II Driver requiring a motor vehicle report and proof of valid driver’s license
