Job Summary
The intern will assist in the development and delivery of strategic and comprehensive public communications to increase the profile and reach of the Penn State Agriculture and Environment Center (AEC).
Work will include updating websites, reinvigorating social media presence, developing outreach materials, and producing content from events.
The intern will gain exposure to different partners from private, public agency, and nonprofit sectors and have opportunities to participate in other AEC projects.

Key Requirements
Relevant coursework in marketing/public relations, journalism, digital multimedia design, videography, or related field
Majors in water resources, natural resources, and environmental and/or agricultural sciences with multimedia science communications skills
Undergraduate upper-class or early stages of graduate school (rising third year and above)
Excellent writing and communication skills
Ability to work from home
Willing to work outside in variable weather and site conditions
Willing to conduct occasional travel
Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle required
Successful completion of background check(s)
Successful completion of a motor vehicle records check
