Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 5+ years subsea or electro-mechanical systems experience
  • Firmware development for microcontrollers and FPGAs
  • High voltage DC/DC power system circuit design
  • Remote analog data acquisition equipment design
  • Long-distance fiber optic telemetry systems
  • Multi-layer PCB assembly design and testing
  • Hardware description languages VHDL and Verilog

Nice-to-have

  • Experience with Altium Designer tool
  • Xilinx Zynq FPGA and Vivado IDE proficiency
  • Cross-platform C/C++ compiling for ARM systems
  • Microchip PIC32 and STMicroelectronics STM32 experience
  • ISO 9001:2015 quality process familiarity
  • DoD technical program execution exposure
  • IPC-A-610 and J-STD-001 standards knowledge

Key Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Computer Engineering
  • U.S. Citizenship with ability to obtain SECRET clearance
  • 5 years of experience with subsea maritime systems
  • Functional literacy of Linux operating systems
  • Ability to apply software engineering practices to firmware
