Skills & Requirements

Must-have

  • 5-8 years community management experience
  • Kubernetes and cloud-native ecosystem knowledge
  • Proven track record growing open source communities
  • Hands-on events experience CFP management
  • Strong async writing skills for GitHub and newsletters

Nice-to-have

  • Experience using Argo CD or Kargo in production
  • Active presence in CNCF or OpenSSF communities
  • Speaking experience at KubeCon or ArgoCon
  • Building ambassador or champion programs from scratch
  • Running programs around CNCF graduated projects

Key Requirements

  • 5-8 years of community management or developer relations experience
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes and GitOps concepts
  • Demonstrated ability to grow technical open source communities
