Job Summary

  • This role offers prospective and current Penn State students the opportunity to gain experience in athletics media relations, communications, public relations, social media, and content capture/generation.
  • Student assistants will work various events across all 31 Penn State Intercollegiate Athletics programs, performing tasks such as recording statistics, assisting media, transcribing press conferences, and managing social media accounts.
  • Responsibilities include contributing written feature stories and press releases, attending practices to capture student-athlete centric content, and telling student-athlete stories through various media.
