Key Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree or equivalent experience
  • Clinical Laboratory Scientist/Medical Technician experience
  • Registered with ASCP
  • Working knowledge of laboratory instrumentation
  • Working knowledge of Microbiology diagnostics and Vitek2 preferred
  • Prepare laboratory reports and enter results
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Able to sit, walk, talk, use hands, hear, smell and have color vision
  • Able to stand for prolonged periods
  • Able to handle multiple tasks
  • Able to work indoors with instruments and refrigeration units
  • Able to work with limited exposure to toxic chemicals
  • Able to positively interact with park guests and co-workers
