Job Summary

  • Operates the Aluminum Wire Draw and the Wire Stranding machines and consistently meets Marmon Utility’s quality and productivity requirements in a safe manner with minimum scrap.
  • Set up both lines mechanically from pay-off through take-up operations, including installing appropriate tooling (dies) and all auxiliary equipment needed to produce specified stranded conductor gauge sizes per process instructions.
  • The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to chest height and exert up to 60 pounds of force to roll a spool off a pallet onto a track.
