Job Summary
Operates the Aluminum Wire Draw and the Wire Stranding machines and consistently meets Marmon Utility’s quality and productivity requirements in a safe manner with minimum scrap.
Set up both lines mechanically from pay-off through take-up operations, including installing appropriate tooling (dies) and all auxiliary equipment needed to produce specified stranded conductor gauge sizes per process instructions.
The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to chest height and exert up to 60 pounds of force to roll a spool off a pallet onto a track.
